Today makes the first day where pauses in fighting between terrorists and the Syrian Arab Army have taken place in Eastern Ghouta. The only problem is that while Syria continues to adhere in the Russian drafted cessation agreement ordered by a directive of Vladimir Putin, terrorist groups in Eastern Ghouta not only continue to fire on Damascus, but they have shelled and fired upon humanitarian corridors which were supposed to be used to evacuate the few remaining civilians in the region in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2401.

According to Russian military adviser Viktor Pankov,

“On February 27 at 9 a.m. a humanitarian corridor was opened for the civilians’ exit from the de-escalation zone. Now intense fire is underway from the militants’ side and no civilians have left”.

In spite of this clear violation of the UN Resolution which the US and its allies voted in favour for, the US has thus far refused to make any public statements ordering its proxies in Eastern Ghouta to allow for the safe passage of humanitarian aid and civilian evacuations. Instead, the US and its partners continue to agitate for war upon Syria, something that would constitute their own violation of the UN Resolution they claim to support.

While some had questioned why Russia voted for a general Syrian ceasefire that it had opposed in an early draft form, the reality is that because Russia worked to secure a clause exempting terrorist groups from the pause in violence, the Syrian Arab Army and its allies will still be targeting hostile Takfiri jihadist groups occupying Eastern Ghouta on a daily basis, as they have done over the last several days.

Today’s news that the competing Takfiri groups in Eastern Ghouta have set up a joint command centre, has de-facto played into the hands of Syria as it will now be even more straightforward to classify a united terrorist font in Eastern Ghouta as a single unit, which it was for all intents and purposes even before the formal merging of jihadist command centres.

While the US continues to threaten Syria based on false reports from the pro-Al Qaeda organisation White Helmets, as the US and its allies voted in favour of the UN Security Resolution authorising the ceasefire, the US would be in violation of the Resolution it voted for were it to engage in any military action against Damascus.

In this sense Russia has secured a geopolitical victory against the US and its hostile partners, while also securing an opportunity for the Syrian Arab Army and its battlefield allies to concentrate its efforts on liberating Eastern Ghouta after years of brutal terrorist occupation, all the while protecting the citizens of Damscus from terrorist attacks emanating from Eastern Ghouta based jihadist groups.

In this excellent piece, George Neumayr refers to the rupture of relations between the Vatican and al-Azhar that took place during the time of Pope Benedict.

As I explained here, that rupture took place because Pope Benedict dared to speak out about the Muslim persecution of Christians. By contrast, Francis energetically defends Islam, and leaves the persecuted Christians twisting in the wind, so he is acceptable to al-Azhar.
The worst part about this is the fact that because this man is Pope, all too many Catholics, including some in positions of high authority, treat him as if he were a divine oracle, his every utterance to be revered, respected, studied, and followed. Because of the statement of Vatican II that “religious submission of mind and will must be shown in a special way to the authentic magisterium of the Roman Pontiff, even when he is not speaking ex cathedra,” and “must be shown in such a way that his supreme magisterium is acknowledged with reverence, the judgments made by him are sincerely adhered to, according to his manifest mind and will,” Catholic leaders and publications tend to think that they must adhere to anything the Pope says about anything.
This leads them into impossible positions. When Pope Benedict XVI appeared to criticize the aspects of Islam that incite and justify violence, they allowed for criticism of Islam. When Francis showed himself to be an Islamic apologist, they became Islamic apologists. All too many Catholic leaders and institutions, in other words, are more interested in being papists than in being truthful. They would rather show loyalty to the Pope, no matter how damaging his utterances, than stand for the truth on the own against the Pope.
The contradiction is clear, and absolute. If the Catholic Church has become one of Islam’s loudest boosters, then those who are aware of the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat, rooted in Islamic texts and teachings, have to make some hard decisions about where they stand.

As the prototypical progressive Jesuit, Pope Francis prides himself on his “ecumenism.” He oozes enthusiasm for every religion except his own. At the top of his list of favorite religions is the Church’s fiercest adversary — Islam.

As Europe turns into Eurabia, Pope Francis is picking up honors and awards from progressives, including, hilariously, the 2016 “Charlemagne Prize” for his Islamic apologetics. It is hard to imagine a Christian leader less like Charlemagne. Pope Francis is energized not depressed by the disappearance of Christian Europe. “States must be secular,” he told La Croix. Christian states, he said, “end badly” and go “against the grain of history.” He added that “when I hear talk of the Christian roots of Europe, I sometimes dread the tone, which can seem triumphalist or even vengeful.” It also takes on “colonialist overtones,” he complained.

The most liberal pope ever, of course, sees no irony in shilling for the most illiberal religion on Earth. On his anti-colonialist scorecard, Islam wears the white hats and Christian Europe, the black ones. After jihadists gunned down ten journalists at the offices of Charlie Hebdo, Pope Francis rushed to Islam’s defense again, in effect rebuking the dead journalists for incitement: “You cannot provoke. This week Pope Francis takes his pro-Islamic apology tour to Egypt. Previewing the trip, which starts on Friday, he said he seeks to “offer a valid contribution to inter-religious dialogue with the Islamic world.” Francis’s fawning media courtiers are already rolling out the propaganda for it, predicting that it will “build bridges to moderate Islam.”

“A main reason for the trip is to try to strengthen relations with the 1,000-year-old Azhar center that were cut by the Muslim side in 2011 over what it said were repeated insults of Islam by Francis’s predecessor, Pope Benedict,” according to Reuters. “Ties with the center were restored last year after [Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb] visited the Vatican. Tayeb, widely seen as one of the most moderate senior clerics in Egypt, has repeatedly condemned Islamic State and its practice of declaring others as apostates and infidels as a pretext for waging violent jihad.”

Being “one of the most moderate senior clerics in Egypt” is about as meaningful a distinction as being one of the most chaste Kardashian sisters. New Film Documents Muslim Genocide on Christians in the Middle East (Video)

“We want to say ‘never again,’” said Paula Kweskin, film producer, of genocide, “but in the last two decades we’ve seen so many instances of it.  

Why haven’t we changed?” she asked during an interview with The Stream. Kweskin has just produced a new documentary that details the horror of genocide, kidnappings and rape in the Middle East.

Documenting Genocide

Faithkeepers is a documentary of the Christian, Yadizi and other minorities genocide. Witnesses and victims of violence tell the story of how Christians and other minorities are literally being wiped out in the Middle East by ISIS and Muslim infighting. According to Kweskin, it’s a story that needed to be told.

Kweskin met Juliana Taimoorazy, an Assyrian-Christian activist, and learned of her harrowing story of escaping the Middle East. It was then that she decided to do the human rights project. Kweskin teamed up with Roma Downey (Touched by an Angel, among others) and Clarion Project to produce the film.

Protecting Those Who Bear Witness

But it wasn’t easy to get people to speak on camera. Some of those interviewed were glad to tell their story. Others were hesitant and wanted to be filmed in shadow. “It depend[ed] on how people responded to the trauma,” said Kweskin. Those interviewed saw beheadings of family members or experienced torture, kidnapping and rape. Others may have relatives still living in dangerous areas.

‘If I die, I die as a Christian’

It isn’t random violence. Christians, Yadizis and other faith minorities are tortured and killed because they won’t convert to Islam. Their churches and places of worship are destroyed. One woman described how she and her son watched his father be beheaded. Her son stopped talking. Another woman described how women drank rat poison to avoid the torture at ISIS’ hands. ISIS said they wouldn’t let the women die so easily. ISIS took them to the hospital where their stomachs were pumped. Another woman who was raped and tortured explained why she endured the horror. “My only wish was that if I die … I die as a Christian.”

 

OBAMA BLOCKS IRAQI NUN FROM TELLING ABOUT CHRISTIAN GENOCIDE IN IRAQ

In early May 2015, Obama blocked Sister Diana Momeka from entering the United States, the only Christian in a group delegated to describe their situation in Iraq.

Sister Momeka is known for her advocacy of religious minorities in the Middle East and was prepared to fully describe the horror and Christian persecution perpetrated by the Islamic State (IS) in Iraq, but she was the only one in the delegation, among Yazidi and Turkmen Shia religious groups, who was blocked from their trip to Washington.

Why do you suppose Sister Momeka was initially blocked from coming into the US?

She obviously didn’t fit in with the commandeered testimonials allowed by Obama’s propagandized media.

Sister Momeka was also not among the hundreds of thousands of Muslims converging into the US, whose immigrations have been specifically orchestrated by Obama.

In fact, the Obama administration has worked very hard at keeping persecuted Middle Eastern Christians seeking asylum out of the US!

Nevertheless, as Matthew Balan pointed out in his article for NewsBusters, the Obama administration has a “special envoy” for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBT).

In other words, if you are a Christian under threat of being sawn asunder, crucified, beheaded, sliced to pieces, burned alive, drowned or buried alive, Obama will NOT give you asylum in the United States; but if you are a homosexual (which the Word of God says is an abomination in the sight of God – Leviticus 18:22), you will get a very special pass to get in! Hey, he might even light up the White House for you, as he did when the Supreme Court passed gay marriage in all 50 states!
